I’m excited to let our majors know about this great opportunity. The University of St. Thomas Graduate English department is currently accepting applications for fully-funded graduate teaching fellowship positions. Our outstanding Metro State English majors have done well in this program. St. Thomas is hoping to receive applications by March 1, 2022; however, they expect they will extend that deadline to April 1, 2022.

Application to this program is free and the GRE is not required. Here’s what the department writes:

The graduate Programs in English are now accepting applications for summer and fall 2022 enrollment, including for our fully-funded Graduate Teaching Fellowship position. This position is a two-year teaching position at our Dougherty Family College, a 2-year college in Minneapolis, MN. The Teaching Fellow works with the English faculty in teaching courses, mentoring students, and working in the Writing Center. It is about 15 hours/week and is paid for about $5,500/year, plus the full tuition waiver. We will have one of these positions open in the fall of 2022.

Apply by March 1, 2022, to be considered for this life-changing opportunity.
