Out of curiosity, is the Lit 480 Capstone offered both spring and fall?
One other thing I noticed: online classes are the same price ($1009.72) for residents as non-residents (as opposed to the roughly $750 for residents for other 4-credit courses).
Why are web-based courses so much more expensive? I was planning to take HUM 311 but probably won’t now!
Thanks!
Good questions, Cat.
The Capstone (LIT 480) is offered only in Spring, so plan wisely!
And, yes: online classes are more expensive because there’s a whole slew of expensive computers/servers/telephone wires, etc., as well as the 24/7 bank of employees who answer all those questions about D2L processes for both students and instructors.
Thanks Tammy. Darn tricky capstones!
I can’t wait for the spring semester. I am actually thinking about taking the second class that relates to English Lit 371, even though it doesn’t pretain to my overall degree.
